Fox Box Blackthumb Plasma Kannon

Description

There’s a lot to be said for a wildcard on the battlefield; something to keep the enemy guessing. The plasma kannons cooked up by the Blackthumb clan are most certainly that. Admittedly they’re fairly good at keeping their operators guessing too as their true workings are known only to the clan. Instructions to crew include things like “If white-hot then functioning as intended” and “avoid wearing metal”.

As you might have noticed looking at the photos or videos it comes with two different blast shields. We couldn’t decide which design to include in the kit so we decided not to decide!

Fun fact – these were on the board in a customer’s army before they were on the site! Here’s some in use as Mek Gunz (specifically Kustom Mega Kannons) in a game of 40K at our local gaming club:

This kit consists of 6 parts – two wheels, two blast shield options, the gun carriage, and the gun itself. Size-wise it’s scaled to match 28mm “Heroic” scale Orcs and similar product ranges.

It’s approximately:

• 6cm tall
• 9.5cm long from stabilising feet to gun tip
• 7cm wide.
