Fox Box Orc Bricks ’n’ Breeze Blocks

Description

I made these for another project and just kind of fell in love with them. I figure they could be handy for basing models, detailing terrain, or adding to vehicles (ballast!). Perhaps even livening up a dull floor. I’d love to see what people use them for, frankly.

These are built for greenskins, not humans, so may look a bit oversized if used in the wrong context. Then again human bricks look undersized most of the time!

• The small bricks are 4mm tall, ~4.5mm wide, 8mm long
• The breeze blocks (cinderblocks) are 5.5mm tall, 5.5mm wide, and 11mm long.

Silk on the YakTribe forum has also brought it to my attention that Plastruct’s O scale (1:48) plasticard sheet brick walls also use 8mm bricks. I wish I could say I planned it that way but it’s purely a happy accident!

This is a sprue of 45 blocks. Size-wise they’re scaled to match 28mm “Heroic” scale Orcs and similar product ranges. They’re cast in resin and so some clean up may be required. For further details see our Working With Resin page.
