As you good folks may have noticed we are now open for business.

SSL is up and running, the order system seems to be working perfectly and we’ve processed our first few orders.

The one thing we currently don’t support that I’m working on is multiple shipping rates. For the moment we only ship to the UK due to a limitation in our software. That limitation can be removed shortly with a plugin but it’s going to cost us a little bit. A few more orders should cover that nicely but in the mean time we’re going to institute a little workaround.

As you may already know our shipping is a flat rate of £1.99 to the UK. The cost to the rest of the world isn’t too bad though but it is a little higher.

If you’re in mainland Europe shipping is a £2.99 flat rate.

The rest of the world, including the US, is £3.99, again flat rate.

I mentioned a workaround – if you’re wanting an order shipped outside of the UK you should add the relevant shipping to your order.

Basically these items add £1 or £2 to your order, respectively, fixing the gap in shipping.

Sorry about the inconvenience but it should be a non-issue in a short while.

Well hello there!

Ben here, proprietor and Big Mek of Fox Box. As you can see the site is now online although a bit rough around the edges. Over the next few weeks I’ll be smoothing off the corners and generally mucking about with it until I get it closer to what I’m looking for. Any feedback is welcome and I’ll do my best to accommodate you wherever possible.

Fox Box is my attempt at creating a bits site organised the way I’d like to use one, with as many tags as possible to make things easier to find. Looking for an arm wearing gloves?

Over time I’ll be adding more tags to make things easier to find. If there’s tags you’d like added just say the word and I’ll do my best to make it happen.

Also, as you can see, we’ve got a fairly good range of stock at the moment, but there’s going to be more. I’ve prioritised getting the site running before expanding stock. Games Workshop’s warbiker kit is going up next, followed by the trukk kit. There’s more to come but one step at a time, as it were.

For now we specialise in all things green skinned but in time we may well expand.

There’s one last thing that needs to be sorted out before we start accepting orders and that’s SSL security for our checkout. It works without it but I wouldn’t be comfortable paying without SSL so I don’t see why you should have to either.
