Fox Box Orc Piecemaka’ Scout Tank

Description

It’s fast, it’s needlessly stylised, and there’s room for a big gun on top. It’s really more for probing the enemy than attacking them head on though but you’ll look cool doing it and that really makes all the difference.

This particular buggy-trak hybrid thing has two gunner options – one with oven gloves, one without. Yep, really. Wouldn’t you want some protection if you were manning a flamethrower twice the size of you?

The other gunner is there for the machine gun and rocket launcher options and isn’t as well equipped in the cosy glove department. The crew are all headless. Well, their heads are separate. You’re not stuck with my sculpts is what I’m saying!

Depending on how it’s configured it’s quite possible to run it without its Charger car body if that’s not your thing. The machine gun and rocket launcher options rely on the roof of the body to provide a platform but it’d be pretty easy to rig something up to connect to the mounting points.

The vehicle consists of 13 parts. Size-wise it’s scaled to match 28mm “Heroic” scale Orcs and similar product ranges. It’s cast in resin and so some clean up may be required. For further details see our Working With Resin page.

Measurements with Charger body:

• 9.4cm long
• 5.7cm wide (6.8cm including external exhaust pipes)
• 6.8cm tall (top of machine gunner’s head)

Without Charger body:

• 8.8cm long (to the tip of the flamethrower)
• 5.6cm wide
• 6.6cm tall (top of flamethrower gunner’s shoulders – he’s a bit hunched!)
